Campbell hosted a mural competition for the Creekside Way Bridge to brighten the trail and promote environmental awareness. For my submission, I drew inspiration from childhood photos of myself immersed in nature at a park just two houses from where I grew up.

Growing up, I spent hours at this park exploring the woods, water, and wildlife—geese, cranes, turtles, koi fish for some reason. It was my playground, my escape, and my connection to the earth, shaping my independence and creativity. With this design, I hope to inspire viewers to appreciate and respect nature by highlighting its beauty and how it enriches our lives.
